This workshop is a unique, guided walking tour of the Taronga Western Plains Zoo site. Students will engage with Dreaming stories and cultural learnings while highlighting the strong connections between Aboriginal people and the natural world.
Explore Taronga’s homage to the traditional owners of this site through the Wiradjuri interpretation within the Zoo. Discover the binding relationships between flora and fauna and hear stories of the Dreaming describing creation of creatures and the landscape.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo is an unforgettable safari adventure for your students. The Zoo is set on a 6km circuit, and students can explore the Zoo at their own pace - take in key animal trails that focus on a range of habitats, explore purpose-built education precincts and learn from a range of Keeper talks throughout the day.
