The Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre is an excellent venue for school excursions. The Centre is a ‘time-machine’, where students can explore historic and modern gold mining, industrial and social heritage and the momentous events of the 2006 Mine Rescue through our many interactive exhibits and activities. The historic and modern industrial design and technology on the Heritage Centre site also makes for an excellent visual-arts research tour destination.
