Supervision
The Museum requires a supervision ratio of 1:5 for prep students, 1:10 for primary school students (years 1–6) and 1:15 for secondary school students (years 7–12), and a 1:1 ratio for students with special needs. Teachers and supervising adults (chaperones) must implement effective supervision strategies when at the Museum. These strategies include ensuring students are wearing name badges and school uniforms, utilising Museum staff in case of emergencies, carrying out regular roll calls and discussing emergency meeting points. Teachers must ensure students behave appropriately and follow instructions at all times.
