RESPONDING – TOURS
Volunteer Gallery Guides provide age-appropriate, rich and varied information about works of art from historical and contemporary perspectives, as well as engaging students in lively and responsive conversations about artists’ practice, concepts and techniques.
RESPONDING – VISUAL ANALYSIS
15 participants max.
With a focus on visual literacy and interpretation strategies Artist Educators draw from visual thinking and analysis frameworks to support students to engage meaningfully with works of art. The sessions are guided by AGWA’s Drawing Breath + Slow Looking pedagogies allowing for multiple personal perspectives to arise and a deeper understanding of elements and principles.
MAKING – WORKSHOPS
Artist-led studio workshops are designed for all ages to engage with dynamic, experimental and process-based approaches to art-making, supporting participants to create unique works of art through engagement with ideas, techniques and materials.
